Yes. The full platform — all 12 modules, mobile app, and web dashboard — is released under Apache 2.0 licence and free to self-host forever. You pay nothing to OneTALA for the software itself. You only pay for your own server/cloud costs and for optional managed services from us.
The one-time ₦3M setup fee covers: AWS environment provisioning, geo hierarchy configuration for your specific country/state structure, user onboarding, mobile app deployment to your Google Play account, initial data migration if applicable, and team training. It is a real cost we incur to get your programme running.
On installation, you enter a licence key we issue to you. The platform calls our licence validation API to verify the key, check expiry, and enforce your tier limits (beneficiary count, user count). If a licence expires or limits are exceeded, the platform enters read-only mode — no data is lost, but data entry stops until renewed.
Yes. International NGOs and donor-funded programmes can pay in USD. Standard tier is $3,750/year, Enterprise starts at $9,375/year. We invoice via bank transfer, and can issue receipts in either currency. USD pricing is fixed; Naira pricing may adjust with exchange rates at renewal.
We will notify you at 80% and 95% of your limit. At 100%, new registrations pause. We will work with you to either upgrade to Enterprise tier or optimise your data (archiving completed campaign records). We never delete your data.
Yes. We offer a 3-month subsidised pilot at 50% of the Standard fee for new Nigerian state government health programmes, subject to agreement on a case study. Contact us to discuss.
