Use a project to group forms, collaborators, data, integrations, and operational context that belong together. Avoid one giant project for unrelated programmes simply because the same team administers them.
Form lifecycle
Keep draft, testing, published, and archived states distinct. A published version should remain traceable to the submissions collected with it.
Before publishing
Confirm question names, labels, required fields, choice lists, calculations, constraints, repeats, media, GPS requirements, and external data dependencies. Test on the actual collection client, not only in the browser preview.
